Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

What is IOP? An Intensive Outpatient Program provides more support than weekly therapy without the need for inpatient hospitalization. It combines group therapy, individual sessions, medication management, and family support.

Who is it for? Adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, substance use disorder (SUD), and co-occurring conditions. Sunstar’s virtual, evidence‑based IOP helps people build skills and regain stability while continuing school, work, and family life.

Teen IOP (13-17)

After-school programming that blends group therapy, individual sessions, and family involvement. Adolescents build coping skills, strengthen communication, and develop resilience to stay engaged in school and daily life.

Adult IOP (18+)

A structured program offering group therapy, individual support, and psychiatric care. Adults learn practical skills to manage stress, improve relationships, and maintain stability while continuing with work, family, and daily responsibilities.

Military & Veterans

Trauma-informed care designed for service members and veterans. The program provides therapy, skills development, and support to enhance stability, foster connection, and ease reintegration into daily life.
